Palaces!

If you know me then you know that I love all forms of royalty. Obviously Will and Kate are my favorites but gimme all the royals. Luckily Norway and Sweden both have royal families and you know what that means...palaces!

When we were planning our trip we were looking at what to do on Oslo and of course I said we should tour the palace. So you can imagine how upset I was when I found out that the palace isn't available for tours after the end of August. And we didn't get to Oslo until the 1st of September. Luckily the outside of pretty or I would have just given up all hope of ever being happy again.

(I am not at all dramatic)

Also I am a very lucky girl because Stockholm has an awesome palace that was open for touring.

I think palace life suits me just fine.

The coolest part of the Stockholm palace is that all the places we toured are real working parts of the palace. So if they are having state visitors or special meeting the palace is closed. So basically I know the Swedish Royal family.

Speaking of the Swedish royal family...they don't live at this palace but they have another just outside of the city that is usually opened for tours but it was closed the weekend we were there and we only figured out after that fact that it was closed for the christening of their grandson. Which made me kid of mad that they didn't invite me...rude.

But we did get to see the chapel where Prince Carl Philip was married like two years ago so that was pretty sweet.

Basically what I am trying to say from this post is that I really really really want to be a princess and if anyone knows Prince Harry tell him to give me a call. Spencer has accepted that if I ever meet Prince Harry I will lie about being married.

Boat Tour

I didn't think these blog recaps would take me two months but apparently I am the world's slowest blogger.

In Bergen we decided that who goes to Norway and doesn't go on a boat tour. So we spent our second afternoon on a boat tour. It was so so worth it.

I really don't have much to say about the boat tour except that it was great. So here are some more pictures and we can all just move on.

I hope this picture shows you how windy it is and that I am not just a loser that doesn't know that their hood is weird.

Look how cute all these houses are! Some of them you can only get to by boat. Isn't that charming? And super inconvenient.

All in all. Go to Bergen, go on a boat tour, be happy.

Wear to work (vol. 5)

Well it seems like every week there will be less and less pictures. I a sure everyone is so distraught. So there are only 2 pictures this week. The other outfits this week were not that great anyways. I promise I will be better this week.

Wear to Work (vol. 4)

You only get three outfits this week. Mostly because I forgot to take a picture on Thursday and I was too lazy to take another picture later in the week. So here are my top three outfits of the week.

Bergen.

Maybe one day I will finish recapping our trip by for now, there are no words for Bergen. It is the cutest place I have ever been.

We took a bus from Stavanger to Bergen and it was just dreamy...or so I thought and then we actually got to Bergen and I realized that every other place I have been in my life will not live up to Bergen.

Literally the only problem with Bergen is that we stayed at the very top of the biggest hill ever. Basically a mountain.

So every time we left our airbnb we had to have everything we needed for the whole day because there was no way I was walking back up that hill if we were planning on walking back down. And believe me, Spencer thought it was a steep hill too. I am not just being my usually extremely lazy self.

We spent our first day there exploring the city. Everything was so charming. I can't even describe it.

The next day we took a funicular up the mountain. Funiculars are always a good idea.

Also, trolls are always a good idea.

As a conclusion, go to Bergen. Its the best.
