Since our wedding is in 3 weeks I decided to share some of our engagement pictures. I am surprised I haven't shared these yet. I was so nervous about taking these and they turned out lovely. Our photographer (Lindsey Orton) was really great and made everything way fun. I can not wait to have her photograph our wedding.

Only 3 more weeks!!!

Bridal Shower

Rachel and Ellie threw me the best shower ever last weekend!

I was way excited for it but as soon as I walked up I knew it was going to be better than I even imagined.

They did such a great job and there were so many cute details. It was evident that they did so much planning and it paid off because it was spectacular. They had the cutest little games and activities for us to do. Although I didn't really appreciate it when I had to put 7 jumbo marshmallows in my mouth, but I blame Spencer for that for not answering the questions right.

I am so so grateful for everyone that came and made it such a wonderful day. As I have all these showers I am just constantly amazed by the generosity of everyone. I could have never expected how many people would come to the showers and how generous their gifts have been. We are only half way through our showers and we already have more than I could have even asked for.  We are so lucky to have such amazing people in our lives.

I am getting married in less than 4 weeks which is just the craziest thing I have ever heard!

My life has also become the craziest thing I have ever heard.

The last weeks of the semester are always the busiest, the last weeks before your wedding are always the busiest, trying to find and start an internship is time consuming, ,making money makes your life the busiest, and add in a bunch of other time commitments and you could just say my life is busiest.

I don't think I have ever been more busy in my whole life. I am not really complaining about it because I made all the choices that lead me here. I am just saying that business is not always happiness.

So in order to make myself remember that this phase of my life is going to pass all too quickly and people keep telling me I will miss it (although I doubt them) I am going to make a list of all the things I am grateful for. I always find that being grateful for things gives me a much better perspective and makes everything better.

- I am grateful that I have the opportunity to go to school.
Some days it just feels like a bunch of busy work but I know I am gaining much more than just a degree by doing this

- I am grateful for how lovely the weather has been. Both the sun and the snow

- I am grateful for all of you that read this blog and make me feel so special by thinking that the things I write are actually worth reading.

- I am grateful that I have been able to live at home and spend so much time with my family. I know I will miss them when I move out.

- I am grateful for a car. I take it for granted that I am able to go where ever I need to go

- I am grateful for friends and family that are constantly offering to help. I don't have much I can delegate to other people but as soon as I do I know they will be happy to help

- I am grateful for the opportunity to make money. Sometimes it seems like it is getting in the way of doing school and wedding stuff but we are going to need this money as soon as we are living all on our own.

- I am grateful for everyone that texted/called/snapchatted and said they liked our invitations. I put a lot of effort and time into those and I am really happy with them
(shout out to Sarah Rodriguez for designing them)

- I am grateful for the internet. I wouldn't get anything done without it

- I am grateful for the generosity people have shown with throwing me showers and giving us gifts. We started with nothing and after just one shower we are well on our way to having a functioning home. We wouldn't be able to do it without the generosity of others.

- I am grateful for a fiance and that will come and listen to me cry and ramble over anything and everything. I am grateful that he understands how much stress I am under and tries his very best to help support me.

- Most of all, I am grateful for a Heavenly Father that knows and loves me. I would not make it through these next few weeks without the support I get from my Heavenly Father. Knowing that He knows just what I am going through and is always listening to my prayers is the biggest comfort to me. I don't think I would make it without that knowledge and love.

We tend to only think about what we are grateful for during thanksgiving but I think it is a good process to follow all the time.

What are you grateful for?

Time has become the craziest thing for me.

On one hand I NEED the next 36 days to go incredibly fast because I can not wait to marry Spencer and have all this wedding planning nonsense behind me.

But on the other hand, I have so much school work that I will take all the time I can get to be able to finish it all.

And on a third hand, in 37 days my one and only wedding of my whole life is going to be over. And that is kind of the saddest thing I have ever heard.

So do I want time to fly by? Or do I want it to go slowly so I can savor every minute of this and get everything done that I need to get done?

Who knows?

I guess I have no control over it anyways. So anyway it goes will be just fine with me.

Trying really hard to stay motivated to do school work but when I can check my registries every five minutes to see if people are buying me presents then how am I supposed to stay motivated???

It is also really hard to be motivated when you have your final wedding dress fitting today. Like how can environmental health compare to that?

So I am going to say that this song motivates me to do homework but honestly it just motivates me to dance around my room.

Also if someone wants to finish all of my wedding crafts and make them actually look good that would be great.

And on that note, happy general conference/Easter weekend!

Happy happy happy birthday to the best fiance there ever was!!!!

(Probably my favorite picture of him)

I have always hated it when people say this but I am beyond grateful that you were born.

I really don't know what I would do without you in my life. You make everything better. You are my best friend and my life would not be nearly as good without you.

Thanks for buying me this fancy ring and wanting to get married.

(Isn't it cool how I find a way to make Spencer's birthday post about me?)

Thank you for spending so much time doing wedding crafts with me.

Thank you for being responsible and putting our future family before anything else.
Thank you for being such a good loving person.

You are the greatest man I know and I don't know how I got so blessed to have you.

I hope you have the happiest of birthdays and that you know just how happy you make me!

Now everyone else go and wish him a happy birthday. Because he deserves it for putting up with me every day.

And......WE ARE GETTING MARRIED NEXT MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
