This is one of the first times in my life where going to the temple felt like I sacrifice but obviously it was worth it once we got there.

The Manti temple may be one of my favorite temples. It is just so unique and wonderful. And honestly everything is more wonderful when I get to do it with Spencer.

(such a model)

As you know, I love showing off our self timer talents and this was just too dang funny not to share. Please note how far I have to run.

Also I am just super bad at running haha.

Only two more temples left in the #spannatemplechallenge!

With the complete mess that my life has become I have to find good songs to get me through the day. And this is one song that is making life go a lot more smoothly.

This last week in church we had a lesson about priorities and kind of about organization and organizing your life. Organization is definitely not my strong suit. Like actually I am really really bad at it. I am also pretty bad at prioritizing. But it is something I so desperately need.

I am going to grad school full time, working part time (that might be a big of a stretch cause I don't work all that much), planning a wedding, trying to find an internship for summer, trying to find somewhere for us to live after we get married, trying to spend at least sometime with Spencer so we aren't complete strangers when we get married, and dealing with all the things that come with getting married like showers and stuff.

Its a busy time.

So priorities and organization are key.

Luckily Spencer is pretty organized so we have about a million lists about the wedding that are actually really helpful.

But me setting my priorities correctly is probably the thing that is holding me back the most. I want to work on addressing our invitations but I also have an assignment due tomorrow. So I am blogging....naturally. I have so many important things to do that it is hard for me to say that one thing is more important than the other. I obviously need to address the invitations but doing my homework is a bigger issue at this very moment.

I guess I am just having a hard time making sure everything is getting done when it needs to get done. Does anyone have any advice on how to prioritize things or how they stay super organized? Because I am kind of floundering right now.

Logan/Brigham City

We are still chipping away at the Spanna Temple Challenge. We are trying to get them all done before we get married which means we have about 70 days to get to four more temples. Vernal, Manti, Monticello, and Salt Lake. Yes we realize that Salt Lake is the closest temple to where we live but we are saving that one for last.

This past weekend we went to the Logan and Brigham City temples.

I have always thought the Logan temple was so beautiful. It is so unique and just amazing. It is set up on a big hill and you can see it from pretty much everywhere in the whole valley. It is really amazing.

I had never been to the Brigham City temple before and I also don't think I had spent too much time looking at it. But it was also really amazing.

And let me just tell you, going to the temple while being engaged is like a million times better than going while dating. Spending time in the temple and thinking that in a few short months we will be in the temple being sealed makes the whole experience so much more tender. It also puts everything in more of a perspective. I will only be going to do baptisms for a few more months. While I am ready to participate in other ordinances it makes me even more grateful for each time I get to participate in the baptismal ordinance.

I am so grateful for temples and all they represent. They are one of the greatest blessings we have on this earth.

Ok so Valentines day may have been like more than two weeks ago but that doesn't mean I cant still blog about it.

We obviously started the day off with donuts.

And who has better donuts than Art City Donuts? Oh right, no one. We really really love art city and if you have't tried them then you really should. And if you are really really lazy and don't want to go to the truck maybe you should just come to our wedding and maybe you will get them then.

Anyways, after the donuts I have a craft planned for us. Spencer and I are not really that crafty but planning a wedding has forced us to be at least a little crafty. So we went to Michel's and got started.

We have been racking our brains over what we should do for a guest book at our wedding. We don't really like the idea of a typical book and Spencer loves map of the world so we decided to make a map. A long time ago I made this map of the tube. I really really liked how my tube map turned out so we decided to use that same technique.

We thought we would be able to finish it that afternoon so we could go out to dinner but that was definitely not the case. We worked all afternoon and went out to a quick dinner at From Scratch (so so good!) and then hurried back to our project. It took us two more days and a lot of team work but we finally got it done.

We are so so so proud of how it turned out but the only problem is that it turned out so cool we are not sure we want people to write on it.

So does anyone have any other good guest book ideas? Haha.
