Lets start this off by saying I am weird. For some reason in my mind a book is only good if I have read it before. (Believe me, I know that is the weirdest thing ever) So anytime someone suggests a book for me to read I say I will keep it in mind but in reality I have probably already forgotten the name of it.

Now don't be offended it you have recommended a book to me before. Because I really do like hearing people's suggestions. I just don't usually take them to heart. But now I am changing all that.

I want to read some really good books. So I need some suggestions.

My favorite books are

"The Sound and the Fury" by William Faulkner

"The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy

"Tess of the D'Ubervilles" by "Thomas Hardy

"Extremely Loud and Incredibely Close" by Jonathan Safran Foer

So if you have read those and liked them then we can be book friends!

But even if you haven't I would still love your suggestions!

My cousin Nate got married last week!!!!

It is so exciting but sad at the same time. It made me really realize that we aren't little kids anymore...despite the fact that I act like a 6 year old most of the time.

It was such a beautiful wedding. I LOVED every minute of it!!!

Nate and Madi have been friends forever. And when I became friends with Madi's little sister Sydney I knew that Nate and Madi needed to get married. And I reminded Nate of this fact almost everytime I saw him. So I am taking all credit for this set up.

Not gonna lie, at first it was just because I wanted to be distantly related to Sydney. But now I can see that they are made for each other.

Nate, I am so grateful for you in my life. You have been such a good example to me my whole life. I am so glad to not only think of you as a cousin but as a friend. And as much as you might deny it, I know you like to hang out with me too.  Madi, I don't really know you that well yet but I am so glad that you are in our family. I can tell that you make Nate super happy and I hope he makes you just as happy. And I promise our family is not quite as crazy as we seem.

I am so excited for the two of you! I have a good feeling that your lives together are going to be fabulous!

San Diego Zoo.

The San Diego Zoo may be my favorite place on earth. If you have read my blog before you will know how much I love going to the zoo. So you can only imagine how much I love going to one of the best zoo in the world!

So there isn't really too much I can say about the zoo except that I loved it. So I will just share some fun pictures. Because who wants to read what I have to write about the animals when you can just look at a picture?

4 week old baby giraffe = cutest thing I have ever seen

None of my family even believed this was a real animal. It looks like a mix between a kangaroo and  a deer and that is very confusing to me.

Also this is a lizard without legs. I am not a fan.

Can I tell you what I am a fan of .....?

Have you ever seen a panda in real life? Cause I have.

Wow that was incredibly rude and braggy of me (is braggy a word?). But I was just so so so so so so happy to see a panda!

Hooray for pandas!

I mean, who doesn't love pandas??

In honor of the Bachelorette finale and the fact that this is my friend's cousin I just couldn't help but share this.

The best part about this video is the fact that Jef tweeted about it and then a few days later tweeted this picture.

So jelly.

He met her before the finale aired and when she was walking away he said "be sure to watch the finale. I think you will be happy"

Lucky lucky girl.

I couldn't let this occasion pass without some sort of recognition.

Yesterday was the bachelorette finale and Emily picked Jef!!!

If you remember from this post that I love the bachelorette and I also love Jef.

Jef was literally saying everything right all episode. After he met ricki I knew that Emily was going to pick him.

Lets just say that Jef was melting hearts all over America all episode.

I was super happy once she confirmed that she was going to pick him. And in the words of the fabulous Sarah the proposal "was a magical moment for all of us"

And I may or may not be super happy that she didn't pick Arie....

Remember how I went to California like two weeks ago and haven't even blogged about it yet?

Oh you don't? That's because I may be the laziest blogger ever. I haven't even put the pictures on my computer yet.

It was a really fun trip and I have lots to say about it but currently playing Bubble Bazinga sounds more appealing. So maybe I will stop being lazy and get a post ready for tomorrow....but don't hold your breath.

Isn't it interesting how you never know what will happen any given day.

Your day could start out amazing. Like best day ever and then by the end you are lying in your bed wondering how everything could have gone so wrong. But it could also happen the opposite way. Good things are just as unexpected as bad things.

I have some friends that are struggling with a really hard loss. They didn't know it was coming and it has left their whole world in a mess. Nothing could have prepared them for the pain they are feeling now. I just want to give them a hug and make it go away.

I don't want to have something life shattering have to happen for me to realize just what I have. I want to know that nothing is permanent here.

Everything can change in an instant.

I know that my Heavenly Father has a plan for my life. And at times He is guiding me through rough times so that I will be more appreciative of the end result. It may seem like everything is out of control and nothing makes sense but I know in the end everything will be as it should be.

A Disturbingly Accurate Portrayal of What Happens Every Time ‘That Gotye Song’ Starts Playing in the Car.

There is really nothing else I need to say.

So I am addicted to the bachelorette and I just can't hold it in any longer.

I watch it religiously every week. It is just too good not to watch.

And I have been a big fan of emily all season until last week she made the worst choice ever. Sean was definitely the right guy for her and since I am the authority on her love life she should have listened to me.

Now I am all about Jef but I think he would be better suited with someone that understands Salt Lake. AKA me.

And Arie is the worst. Ever since his hometown date he has been bugging me so badly. So so annoying. But I am 98% sure that she picks him. Dang.

(I dislike Arie so much that I won't even post a picture of him)

But here is one of Kalon!

If I am really being honest the best guy on the whole show was Kalon. I know he was a jerk to emily but I don't have any kids so I don't have any "baggage"

So I can't title a post boyfriend and not throw this song in. Lets be honest.

I was babysitting the cutest little girls last week and like every other person in my life they asked me if I had a boyfriend. When I said no they quickly began dispensing advice on how I could get a boyfriend. Some of their advice included

"You just have to kind of act pretty"

"If you pretend to get hurt then they fall in love with you"

Their advice was so hilarious. They also told me a lot of gossip about some of the other girls that babysit them. I was sure not to tell them too much about me haha.

Aren't little kids just the best?

This made me really happy so I hope you will like it too. Have a great weekend!!!

And I just realized that I am obsessed with baby animals and posting about them on my blog. Oh well, no one is complaining about too many baby animals. Right?

I just about died when I saw this. And I really couldn't stop watching it haha.

Another thing I can not stop looking at is this tumblr. It is seriously the funniest thing I have ever seen.
And this post particularly killed me. Too funny.

Wimbledon Men's Final was yesterday and I am obsessed with Andy Murray.

The match started off so well and I thought Andy could pull off the upset.

But of course Roger had to go and spoil all the fun.

And lets just say that about three hours later I may have been on the verge of tears when Andy gave his speech. I just needed to give him a hug.

Remember when I went to Rexburg and I told you I would tell you more about it and then I never did. Well here I am keeping that promise.

The first night me and Courtney had a little adventure running through sprinklers and listening to bagpipers while Caity was on a date. We also saw the BYUI stadium...I think the high school near my house has a bigger stadium...

The next day we went out to the river.

Caity got a little sassy, I tried to be artsy, and courtney took a nap.

Next we drove around town in Caity's huge red truck. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. But I did get a picture of T-rex plaza. So that counts for something right?

Rexburg may be the number 1 strangest place on earth but I still had a fabulous time. Plus you don't see sunsets like this every day.
