Poor Kim Kardashian. She just spent 10 million dollar on her wedding and then just over 2 months later she gets a divorce. I have small obsession with the Kardashians and it is kind of sad to see her getting a divorce but really, who didn't see that coming. If you watched the wedding special then you would see that they hardly got along at all. They didn't even sit together at their rehearsal dinner. Not a very good start to the marriage.

Its a sad situation but if you aren't really happy during the supposedly happiest day of your life then don't marry each other! Even if you were making a ton of money why would you sacrifice your happiness for money? I guess I just don't understand it.

Well at least the wedding pictures were pretty...

So I went to dinner with my friend Wesley. And we went to Suherio (like we always do) because it is super good and we always have a great time there. Mostly because we always have the same waitress and one time I told that waitress that I was so thirsty that I was like a lake. (Don't ask me what I was thinking when I said that, it didn't even make sense to me) But it was a great time and we both said some of the funniest things ever which made us decide our life should be a tv show....they would just have to edit out the parts where I sit at home playing bubble bazinga.

Wesley started off a story by saying "so my dad doesn't really like animals....except black panthers....and triceratops." What a random group of animals!  He is also trying to get a new job so when he was describing a job offer that sounded great he said "Ya well Satan's plan also sounded great at the beginning!" So hilarious.  I think the best part of the whole evening was when some weird couple came in and sat at the table next to us and then started talking extremely loud about their children. I think I know more about that ladies life then about many of my friends. That is how loud she was talking.

So I know most people won't find any of these comments at all amusing you just have to bear with me because they made me laugh so hard and I just had to record them for future reference.

Have a wonderful day!

This weekend was filled with soccer. It was the girls high school state championships and Waterford was playing and my uncle also coach's Ogden's team so we watched a lot of soccer. And luckily Waterford is in 2A and Ogden is in 3A so they didn't have to play each other.

It started on Friday night with Ogden's semifinal game. They were playing Park City and no one really likes Park City anyways so it was an intense game. The reffing was terrible. I have never seen soccer reffed so badly. But whatever. Ogden won 2-1 and they played hard. It was really sad because at the every end of the game one of the Ogden girls tore her ACL. I think she was senior and didn't get to play in the state game, I felt so badly for her,

Waterford won their game pretty easily on Friday morning so their state game was on Saturday.  They were playing St. Joes and they had lost twice to St. Joes so everyone was pretty nervous. They girls played so tough the whole game. It was amazing. They were able to contain St. Joes pretty well so that was great. Towards the end of the first half my favoritest Jamie Duke kicked a spectacular corner kick and the AMAZING freshmen Grace was able to put it away with a header. It really was one of the best plays I have seen. They were able to hold of St. Joes for the second half and they won 1-0. I was so proud of those girls.

My cousin Emi starts and she is only a freshmen! She has been having some ankle/knee problems lately so she didn't play the whole game but when she did she played so great. Go Emi!!!

Waterford has won 3 out of the last 4 state championships and last year they got second. They are so great and I am so proud to be a Raven!

You can read more about the game here and here.

Waterford's Goalie is Jeannie Woller and she is so great it is amazing. She has started for 4 years (I think?) and she really is a spectacular goalie. This picture is so great because winning as a senior has to be so great for her and I think this picture really shows it.

The energy after the game was awesome. Everyone was so excited and happy. It was such a great win and they played so well.  One of the coolest things about the game was the girls soccer team from Manti. St. Joes had beat Manti the day before and the girls came to cheer on the Ravens. They were louder than the student section from Waterford. I thought that was one of the nicest things. So great.

After Waterford won it was time for Ogden to play their state game. We got really lucky because the games were one after another so we just stayed at the stadium.

The Ogden game wasn't as exciting for me since I don't know any of the girls personally but I will never skip watching and cheering for a soccer game. The Ogden girls played Cedar High and they played pretty well. Both teams looked a little sloppy sometimes but it was a tough game. Both teams were playing really aggressively.

Ogden scored in the beginning of the game on a mistake by the goalie. She had the ball but then she let it slip through her legs. I always hate it when scores like that happen because I can not imagine how terrible the goalie must feel.

The game ended 1-0 and Ogden won. (Fun fact: every single state game  The people sitting around me were so excited that it made me excited! But Maisie wasn't quite as excited...

And I even got a crappy picture of my uncle being interviewed for the newspaper.

You can read some of the interview here and here.

It was a good weekend for soccer and I am so glad that both of those teams. They played hard and they deserved it. Now if only the Utes could win another game...

So I read quite a few different blogs and a bunch of them have things they do weekly. They post a picture of themselves that describes their week, or they list things that make them happy, or things they like, or just funny things that happened throughout the week. And I think that I want to do something weekly. Any ideas for what I should do? Or what you would like to read?

Today was super duper busy. I had class, then work, and then a class in Provo for my study abroad (and provo is about an hour away so that just added more time to my business) but it was still good.

Some fun thoughts about the day/voyage to Provo:

-I had to eat a sucker to soften the pain of having to go to Provo. It was quite a delicious sucker and it made a great microphone to all of the songs I was singing along to.

-While singing along quite obviously I stopped at a stoplight and after being there for a while I looked over at the guy in the car next to me and he gave me a little nod. It was a nice confidence booster but embarrassing because I was seriously singing along....just a little awkward....
-Before I left my mom asked me if I needed to wear my dad's bike sleeves to cover my wrists and to make sure that my ankles were covered. Thanks for looking out for me mom

I'm probably a sinner since you can still see my wrists.

-I got to my class late. Ahhhhh!

-The class was good and made me so excited to go to London. Hooray!  The funniest part of the whole class was when my professor was pointing out where Notting Hill was and he said "this is where Julia Roberts met Hugh Grant." He said it so seriously and it was hilarious.

-I like bullet points and I know they make for boring blogging but I will probably continue to use them.

This is my 100th post! I wish I had something fun and exciting to say but I really don't. I am quite satisfied with life but nothing super exciting has happened recently. I have just been as busy as a bee with everything going on. But being busy is better than being bored!

Random thoughts:

Go see Footloose. But keep an open mind, I saw it last night and it was mostly just good for a few laughs.

This is the best song from the whole movie and me and Willard are meant to be.

-Buy some of these delicious candies. The pumpkins are 8 million times better than the candy corn. They very well may be my favorite candy.

-Utah is starting to be nice with the weather and I am loving it!

-I like Pininterest. It is fun. Follow me and I will follow you back (there is a magical link on the right side of the page)

-And have a happy day!

Mike Chang.

Mike Chang. Mike Chang. Mike Chang.

He is far and away my favorite character on glee and he just melts my heart. Did everyone see the "Asian F" episode of Glee??? It was so good! And in my mom's words "basically the mike chang sings and dances show." LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

His dancing just blows my mind and the fact that he finally sings well in this episode it almost too much for me to handle. He is just so great and likeable and cute and hilarious. The scene with his mom was like to die for he was so sweet.  Hooray!

Enjoy this little gem of mike chang.

I recently watched a movie called "Bill Cunningham New York". Everyone needs to watch it. It was amazing.

It was a documentary of this photographer for the New York Times. He does fashion photography but he only likes to take pictures of people on the street. He also attends parties and takes pictures there but the column that really impressed me was the pictures from off the street. He made some amazing finds and I love it.

Everything he documented was only in a positive light. He did not want to insult anyone he only wanted to praise people for their fashion. That is such an amazing way to look at the world. He really only seemed to look at the positive.  He is so different from all the other photographers and he left such an impression with everyone he encountered...even me, though I haven't ever met him or even seen him in real life I want to be more like Bill.

I won't give anymore of the movie away but I LOVED the movie and everyone should watch it. Even if you don't care about fashion at all it was still a wonderful movie. I am not sure where you can rent it but it is on Netflix if you want to watch it there. It is seriously so good.

My favorite quote from the whole movie was "Fashion is the armour to survive everyday. You can not do away with it. It would be like doing away with civilization".  Love Love Love.

The Utes lost yet again. But ASU was ranked so I was expecting a loss I just wasn't expecting it to be quite as ugly as it was. The Utes had 5 turnovers yet again. And out starting quarterback was out so we played a guy with almost 0 experience. It was kind of rough but the Utes played semi well considering the circumstances.

(beware this is going to be a rant.)

The reffing in the game was literally the worst reffing I have ever seen in my whole life. And it wasn't helped by the fact that ASU has no discipline and their players acted like gang members. The refs were calling everything against Utah even though ASU was doing the exact same things...and sometimes even worse things. There was a few minutes during the second quarter where the Utes got called for a facemask then after the whistle blew on one of the next plays an ASU played slammed a Utah player to the ground and didn't get called for anything. Then on the next play the ASU player dragged a Utah player down by their facemask and didn't get called. It was so ridiculous. I have never seen two play so obvious that were uncalled. The penalties really effected the game and the Utes lost a lot of momentum due to getting called for ridiculous things and for ASU not getting called. I am not saying that we would have won in those penalties would have been called but think it could have been a different game. I hate it when people blame things on the refs but this was seriously the biggest injustice I have ever seen in any football game.

Also, I think I have found myself a team that I dislike as much as I dislike BYU (maybe even more, but don't tell anyone I said that). ASU seriously disgusts me. The played so nastily that it was almost unbearable. And I know it is football and those are big tough guys playing but still it was terrible. Their players also engaged with fans sitting in the stands. I don't know of any other coaches that would have allowed that. A football team needs discipline and they obviously did not have it. My dad told me that their coach is known for letting criminals play and he has been fired from other school because of the lack of discipline his team shows. They all acted like big thugs and made themselves and their school look like a total joke. Even though we lost I am glad that Utah plays with class and doesn't lower itself to the standards of other teams. For the most part out guys would not engage in any arguing or other things like that. I was proud of the composure that Utes had even in the face of stupid losers.

Ok end of rant...

The only good things that came out of the game were when some dumb ASU students decided to venture into the MUSS and that was not tolerated so they started getting things thrown at them and then the ASU fans got kicked out. It was pretty funny that they didn't really do anything but sit there and they got kicked out. It serves them right.

The little patches of yellow are the ASU fans.
I also saw these shoes and wanted them.

So I hate following trends when it comes to facebook posts or topics of conversation but I can not resist.

Are you serious about this snow??? I thought we were going to have a later winter this year since we had such a late spring. This is totally unacceptable. I really do not appreciate the snow this early in the year. Plus, I have sooooooo many perfect fall outfits that I won't even get to wear because it is too dang cold. I am not ready for coats yet!!!

(In case you are out of the loop we had a super cold and rainy/snowy day yesterday. There was even a tiny bit of snow on my front yard that was unmelted by the time I got home from work. Unacceptable)

So I am going to break my not so solid rule of not posting more than once in a day. But it is a very special occasion so therefore I must post.

It is Rebecca and Rachael's birthday today!!! Hooray! These girls are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Like seriously. I love them both so much.

Rebecca is so hilarious. She is so spontaneous and fun and loud and outgoing it just blows my mind. She makes any situation fun/funny and living with her was an absolute blast. You never knew what was going to come next. Such a wonderful person and I am so glad I got to get to know her!

Rachael is amazing. Like seriously amazing. She is so the opposite of Becca it is astounding. But opposite in a good way. She is more reserved when you first meet her but once you get to know her she is just as fun. We can sit and laugh about the dumbest things that no one else finds funny. And I can always count on Rachael to laugh at my jokes. She is a lovely and caring person.

Happy birthday you two. You are both so great and I hope you had a marvelous day! I am so sad I couldn't make it to your surprise party. I was babysitting but I really wanted to be there and I hope it was great and that you were surprised. Keep being great!

Oh and Rachael showed me this video and we laughed for about 30 minutes...just shows you what kind of things we find entertaining....

My favorite part is the apple bottom jeans. Hilarious!

This video is probably the best thing I have ever seen in my whole life. Literally.

Maybe if  "The Pride of Utah" did this then the Utes would play better. Just a suggestion.

So Lauren left me here all alone and so I have had to find something to fill the void and my new best friend is online shopping.

(Yes Lauren, I am publicly blaming you for all my problems, just so you know I am suffering here.)

Let me show you all the things I have bought in the past week....

(In red not blue)

I think I may be a bit out of control? But aren't these like the cutest things you have ever seen? How could anyone resist????

And can I just say that the purse was only 11 dollars. Who wouldn't buy it for 11 dollars????

Now all I have to do is wait for them to come....and hope everything fits....and hope my mom doesn't freak out about how much stuff I have bought.

And Lauren, I still like you a little bit and I secretly need your approval of all the things I have bought....

So I really like braiding my hair. Mostly because it is easy and I think it looks a little classier than just like a regular ponytail....or maybe not...maybe it is just easier and therefore I do it more. I have no idea. But regardless I like to do it. So when I discovered the trend of "Heidi Braids" I had to try it.

And let me tell you it did not work well. Like really not well.I looked like a nast sewer rat or something. So I watched this little video and tried again.

It still did not look as good as hers. But at least I tried right?

What do you think?

Sorry this is a weird/creepy picture

General Conference.

For those of you that don't know, General Conference is a meeting for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It happens that first weekend of April and of October and it consists of 5 meetings during which the leaders of our church give us counsel on how we can improve our lives. There are two general sessions on Saturday and then a Preisthood session and on Sunday there are two more general sessions. If you are lucky you can sometimes get tickets to go to the Conference Center and listen to it in real life but most of the time we just watch the broadcast on our tv.

I love General Conference. First of all, who doesn't love having church in front of the tv while wearing their pjamas. I know I love it. But more importantly, I love hearing from our prophets and learning things that will help to make me a better person.

I have heard atleast 2 or 3 talks that I feel were written exactly for me. It really is a testimony builder that I can be concerned about things and then men and women that I have never met will feel inspired to talk about those exact things. How amazing is that???

Listening to President Monson, his counselors and the rest of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is truly one of the most amazing things. I tend to take it for granted but I really need to work harder at realizing the magnitude of what I am able to experience. I am so lucky that I get to hear from the leaders of our church and I love their messages. They teach such great principles and eternal truths. Oh it is just delicious to my soul. Hooray for Conference!

If you want to learn more about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints you can visit or They are both super great resources and you can learn some really awesome stuff.

So I made a tumblr. Don't ask me why. I obviously already have a blog and I obviously update it like everyday but apparently I need another creative outlet? Or maybe I just think that the world wants to hear more from me?  Oh well, either way I did it. And we shall see how long this obsession with it last.

Oh and if you want to look at it...oh what a day...I kinda like it.

Just going to start this out with the fact that the Utes lost this game. They didn't play very well and they had 5 turnovers. Wasn't the prettiest game to watch but I still had a good time.

My grandpa has two seats in a suite and sitting in the suite is always way fun so I was lucky that I got to go.

The lovely Rice-Eccles stadium
You even get a cool special wristband. And you get to eat dinner but it wasn't anything fancy so I didn't feel like posting a picture of it (and I am sure you didn't want to see one).

You have a pretty good view from the suite.

Best student section ever!!!
It was the homecoming game and every year (well for the past two years...) the band does a script Utah during half time. We kind of copied it from Ohio State but it is still really cool.

So sweet!!!

Even though the game was fairly disappointing I still had a good time and I still love my Utes. It looks like the rest of my family had a good time too.
